    So far ‘summer’ has been a non-event, instead it’s rained and the wind has blown a lot (onshore) and the surf’s been decidedly average too. So to make use of another boring day of crappy waves I made a hand plane out of an old snapped belly board, turns out it’s the best thing I’ve done in ages.
